Maarchaa.com is an online platform for swapping or exchanging the products and services.  It is easy to set-up an account. Following steps might help you to understand how Maarchaa.com works.

What Does Maarchaa Mean? 

“Maarchaa” is a slang used for swap or exchange of the product and service in the sub-continent.

1. Signing Up

1. Fill out the details and credentials in the given fields.
2. Set a strong password consisting of alpha-numeric & lower-upper case combination.

 

2. Types of Maarchaa

There are 4 types of Maarchaas

1. Product with Product
2. Product with Service
3. Service with Product
4. Service with Service

 

3. Add Maarchaa

a. Type

Select the type of Maarchaa.

b. I Have

Fill out the details of “I Have” Section. 

“I Have” This is the product or service which you have or possess.

1. Select the product and service category from the dropdown.
2. Add the description of the product and service to be offered including features, condition(s) and other particulars
3. Add monetry value of product/service for reference.
4. Add picture of the product.
5. Select location where product is available or service will be provided.

c. I Want 

Fill out the details of “I Want” Section. 

“I Want” This is the product or service which you require or want.

1. Select the product or service category from the dropdown.
2. Enter the title of product or service you want.
3. Add the description of the product or service required including features, condition(s) and other particulars.

d. Submission

Submit the Maarchaa and it will be shown to other account holders in search for swapping.

 

3. Searching Maarchaa

1. Maarchaa of product and/or service can be searched on the home page.
2. Type the product and/or service of your interest for Maarchaa in search box and it will show the list of relevant Maarchaa(s).
3. Advanced Search option will help in searching Maarchaas in detail.

4. Send or Receive Offers

There are two ways through which other account holders will send you the offer.

1. Swappers may send you their already posted Maarchaa which may be accepted or declined by you.
2. Swappers may send you counter offer against your Maarchaa which may be accepted or declined by you.

You or the other swapper can send messages to each other for negotiations and discussing the terms of swapping.

If you have made your contact number or email public, it will be shown on your profile and other swapper can contact you. If you wish to keep them secret, you can always share your contact details through messaging.

 

5. Swapping of a Product or Service

a. Product

Swapping of a product can be made in two ways with the mutual consent.

1. Through courier service
2. Meeting face-to-face or physically

b. Service

Service for swap can be given in two ways with the mutual consent.

1. Through internet or virtually
2. Meeting face-to-face or physically

 

6. Closing Maarchaa

Once you have agreed to swap the product or service, close the offer in your profile. Your Maarchaa will be considered successful and will not be displayed to the visitors.
